Side by Side is an early, private app built around one trusted pair rather than public rooms or matchmaking.
- Windows x64 and macOS 12 or newer on Apple Silicon or Intel.
- Exactly two people can share a room.
- Commercial streaming services use companion mode because DRM-protected playback cannot be embedded.
- The installers are not yet commercially code-signed; Windows and macOS may show a security confirmation.
- Public signaling and relay infrastructure is used when a direct peer-to-peer route is unavailable.
